Welcome
to Monte Sereo
The farmhouse lies on the ridge of a gentle hill, Monte Sereo which is located on the Northern part of the Euganean Hills Regional Park. From the summit, surrounded by green woods, you can enjoy a unique panorama extending to the Venetian plain.
To the north the Alps and their white peaks. To the west the Berici hills gently descending over the city of Vicenza. To the west the city of Padua and, far away in the horizon, in bright and clear days it is sometimes possible to see the beautiful towers of Venice.
The house is an ancient rural residence of the late eighteenth century, listed among the buildings of typological and environmental interest in the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills. It was once a farmhouse of the nearby villa Barbarigo – Montesi (17th century).
With the variety of crops and spontaneous vegetation, Monte Sereo collects all the elements of the typical landscape of the area which with its colors and scents offers a suggestive context in every season of the year. The distance from inhabited centers, the lack of sources of noise and pollution also allow the presence of a large number of wild animals that come close to the house.

The
Rooms
The farmhouse preserved the typical characteristics of a rural Italian house from the eighteenth Century. The warm red tiles of the roof, the white building stone of the walls and the wooden beams provide that unique feeling of a quiet and restful Italian lifestyle.
